Our massages come in a duration of different lengths of time. With that being said, is your 60 minutes really 60 minutes? Don't be afraid to ask this question! Ultimately you have to make sure you aren't comparing apples to oranges when you go shopping for your spa experience. Here at Bellissima, we believe that if you pay for an hour, that is what you are going to get. You receieve EVERY minute you pay for.
Signature Massage: Massage therapists use long smooth strokes, kneading and circular movements on superficial layers of muscle using massage lotion or oil. This massage can be very gentle and relaxing. If you've never had a massage before, this a good one to try first.
Bellissima Massage: This massage is a combination of our Signature, aromatherapy, and hot rock massages. It is our most popular massage, and it can also be added to a deep tissue massage as well.
Aromatherapy Massage: this is a type of massage therapy that has the addition of one or more essential oils to address specific needs. The massage therapist can pick the oils that are relaxing, energizing, stress-reducing, balancing, ect. However, lavendar is the most commonly preferred by guests and therapist. These massages are particularly suited to stress-related conditions or conditions with and emotional component.
Hot Rock Massage: Heated, smooth stones are placed on certain points of the body to warm and loosen tight muscles as well as balance energy centers in the body. The therapist might also hold stones and apply gentle pressure with them. The warmth of the stones are comforting, which is good for people who have muscle tension but prefer a lighter massage.
Deep Tissue Massage: Deep Tissue targets the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. The massage therapist uses slower strokes or friction techniques across the grain of the muscle. This type of massage is typically used for chronically tight or painfully sore muscles, repetitive strain, postural problems, or recovery from injury. People often feel sore for a day or two after having this massage.
Prenatal Massage: Moms too can benefit greatly from massage both during and after pregnancy. A prenatal massage can promote relaxation, reduce physical and mental stress, relieve nck and back pain, and improve circulation. The expecting mother's body must be properly positioned and supported during the massage using pillows and padding. Proper positioning ensures comfort and safety for the mother and baby.
